Newton, N.H. - Cathy Elizabeth DiVeglia, 60, formerly of Peabody, Mass., and Kensington, N.H., passed away on November 20, 2020, at her home in Newton, N.H., where she had lived for the last two years. Born on April 17, 1960, in Beverly, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Janet (Audunson) Carrella. Cathy grew up in the Beverly and Salem, Mass., area. After high school she earned a degree in Radiology from North Shore Community College and worked as a Cat Scan Technologist for the Exeter Hospital, the Lahey Clinic and the Boston Medical Center. Cathy loved animals, shopping, cooking and baking. She enjoyed comfort food and especially loved coffee flavored treats. Her favorite things to do were joke, attend concerts, swim in the rain, sun tan, spend days at the beach collecting sea glass and nights at the beach with her dog Moose Miller. She could walk for hours through her neighborhood or spend a full day on family trips specialty shopping at her favorite store Zeb's in North Conway, N.H. She was clever, witty, generous and filled with incredible contagious humor and compassion. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Cynthia Wilson. She is survived by three daughters, Angela DiVeglia of Newton, N.H., Noelle DiVeglia of East Kingston, N.H., Kendra Cronin of Swampscott, Mass.; two sisters, Diane Gonyea of Peabody, Mass., Tina Nelson of Lynn, Mass.; and her brother, Andrew Carrella Jr. of Lynn, Mass.
