Cary Scott Thomas Cyr, 53, passed away on July 18, 2016, in Peabody, Massachusetts. He was born on September 20, 1962, in Salem, Massachusetts, the son of the late Hugh H. and Lucille A. Cyr.
Cary attended Salem High School in Salem, Mass., and was a valued employee at the Peabody Public Library for 19 years. Cary loved the arts, theater, and movies. He was a caring and dedicated brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his siblings, William Cyr and Susan Cyr of Raymond, N.H., Cynthia Rousseau and husband, Carl of Merrimack, N.H., Cheryl Vastl and husband, Joseph of North Salem, N.H., and Kathleen Cyr of Nashua; nieces and nephews, Monica McIntosh of Pace, Fla, Jessica Morasse of Raymond, N.H., Carl Rousseau Jr. and Holly Rousseau of Merrimack, N.H., Jan Vastl and Joel Vastl of North Salem, N.H., and Jeremy Roberge of Nashua.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua. A graveside service will follow visitation at St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, 752 W Hollis Street, Nashua, NH 03062. Family and friends are invited to attend.
