Brendan G. Proulx Obituary

Raymond - Brendan G. Proulx, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2024, at his home in Raymond, NH. Born on January 20, 1964, in Beverly, MA, he was the son of the late Ephriam H. Proulx and June E. (Ingemi) Proulx.

Brendan grew up in Salem, MA, as one of four children, and he always had a knack for working with his hands. A self-taught mechanic and craftsman, Brendan could fix or create almost anything, from his beloved drum set to his prized motorcycles. He took immense pride in these projects, often sharing his talents and creations with friends and family. A graduate of North Shore Technical High School, Brendan went on to have a successful career as a CNC Programmer, spending the last four years with Magellan Aerospace in Haverhill, MA, and many years prior with Paradigm Co. in Peabody, MA.

Brendan was a resident of Peabody for nearly 20 years before moving to Raymond, NH, in 2015. In addition to his passion for drums and his motorcycle, he was a talented cook, enjoyed staying active as a member of "The Zoo" gym, and kept up with current events and politics, which he followed with keen interest. In 2018, through the wonders of Facebook, Brendan connected with Lauren Abbott, and the two quickly discovered they were soulmates. They married on August 4, 2018, and shared a deep and loving bond that brought him immense joy.

Brendan will be remembered not only for his skills and passions but for his warm heart, humor, and devotion to those he loved. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lauren A. Proulx; his children, Tyler Proulx and Mia Proulx; his stepchildren, Albert "Buddy" Mansolilli, Jessyca Rieder and her husband Andrew, and Bryce Irons; his siblings, Bruce Proulx and his wife Lori, and Becky Woodbury and her husband Mark. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Beverly Beattie; sister-in-law, Leslie MacKay; brother-in-law, Paul Abbott; many nieces and nephews; and extended family, including Raymond and Nancy Ditroia, his previous wife and mother of his children, Debra (DiTroia) Torsey. Brendan was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Barry Proulx, in 2016.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial service on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 AM until the service begins.
