Groveland - Barbara J. (Patkin) Cohen, 82, of Groveland, passed away December 17, 2021, at Lahey Medical Center in Peabody, MA.

She was born in Malden on Dec. 21, 1938, daughter of the late Israel and Ida (Cohen) Patkin.

She was a graduate of Malden High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at Purity Supreme and Stop & Shop for over 25 years. She also worked at the Town of Newbury, MA, prior to her retirement.

She was the wife of the late Nelson Cohen who passed in 2017 and is survived by her son Scott L. Cohen and his wife, Heather J. of Rochester, NH; daughter Nancy L. Cohen of Medford, MA; granddaughter Laura A. Cohen of Hamilton, OH; step-granddaughter Madelyn Zitoli of Rochester. She is also survived by several nieces. She was the sister of the late Miriam Z. Lawson and Charlotte P. Gofstein.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her graveside service on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 12 p.m., in the Children of Israel Cemetery, Middle Road, Haverhill. All are invited back to her residence after the service. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill – Bradford.
