She met her husband of more than 40 years while waitressing at Peg Leg Restaurant. Falling in love, they started their beautiful family which meant the world to her. She loved their weekend ski trips to Bartlett, NH, "One more run!" In her free time, she loved spending time with her family, especially her adoring grandchildren. Some of her most memorable places to visit included Disney World, Hilton Head Island, Bermuda, and her daughter's cabin in Maine. She loved to experience new restaurants, frequenting the ones she liked most! She enjoyed live music, concerts and she never missed an opportunity to watch her kids or grandkids achieve their dreams. Amy was an avid Bingo player and never let a losing card get her down.

She loved being the greatest "Mya" and "Abba" to her grandbabies.
