Allison McKenna Obituary
North Las Vegas - Allison Doyle McKenna, 30, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type 3, a rare connective tissue disorder.
Born in Beverly, Massachusetts, Allison was the beloved daughter of Robert P. McKenna and Lisa (Armstrong) McKenna. She graduated from Beverly High School, Class of 2014, and attended North Shore Community College, where she studied English literature.
Though her illness prevented her from pursuing a professional career, Allison had a deep love of reading and was rarely without a book. She found great joy in discovering new stories and authors. In 2022, she traveled cross-country with her family during their move from Massachusetts to Nevada—an experience she cherished. She often spoke with awe of the natural beauty she was able to see along the way.
Allison is survived by her devoted parents; her sister, Stephanie, and her wife, Alyx McKenna-Chisholm; her brother, Ryan; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Kenneth and Patricia Armstrong and Charles and Janice McKenna and her aunt, Linda McKenna.
A private celebration of Allison's life will be held in Massachusetts for close family and friends.
Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered contributions, support, kindness and compassion during this difficult time.
