Alice M. LeBlanc Obituary

Alice M. LeBlanc of Danvers, age 73, died at Salem Hospital, June 11, 2016, after a brief illness. Born in Ipswich, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (LeBlanc) Paradis. She was a graduate of St. Chretienne Academy. She was employed by the City of Salem in various positions for the Park and Recreation and the Council on Aging.

She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl A. Bammarito and her husband, Tony of Allenstown, N.H., Carolyn M. Sammartino and her husband, John of Woodbridge, Va., and Chrissy A. LaPointe of Clearwater, Fla. She was the beloved grandmother of Ashley and Marshall LeBel, Matthew and Jillian Sammartino, Joshua Jankowiak; and great-grandson, David Dorr. She leaves one sister, Janet E. Spak and her husband, Theodore of Danvers; three brothers, Paul R. Paradis and his wife, Robin of Waldorf, Md., Roger E. Paradis and wife, Dorothy of Carnegie, Pa., Jean A. Paradis of Ipswich; her Godmother, May Pinault; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 16, at Ste. Anne Church, 292 Jefferson Ave., Salem, at 10 a.m. Interment private. Visiting hours Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. (Route 114/1A), Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
