Thomas E. Greene, 86, formerly of Campton, N.H., died Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Pine Rock Manor, Warner, NH surrounded by his loving family.
Tom was born May 25, 1930, in Beverly, Massachusetts, son to the late John B. and Caroline (Thomas) Greene. He owned and operated Union Specialties, which manufactured products for tanning leather, until his retirement in 1992. Tom also took great pride in being involved in multiple charities.
Tom was an avid athlete, with golf being his biggest passion, and was a member of both The Royal Palm Country Club in Naples, Fla., as well as Owl’s Nest in Campton, N.H. Tom also loved traveling and sailing with his wife and friends throughout the years. Above all, his family and his numerous friends were most important to him.
Tom was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Joanne (Cox). He is survived by three sons, Peter Greene of Campton, Kenneth Greene and his wife, Paula of Clearwater, Fla., and William Greene and his wife, Susie of Portsmouth; two daughters, Janet Greene and Kathy Jackson and her husband, Bob Snyder of Laconia; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, J. Brian Greene and his wife, Lynn and Kevin P. Greene and his wife, Ann Marie, all of Mountainair, N.M.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Andre Bessette Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
Memorial services and burial will be at a later date in the family plot at Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Massachusetts.
