Terence M.'s Story
Terence Michael O’Neil Sr. passed away at his home in Warren, N.H. on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Terence was predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Martha O’Neil of Danvers and sister, Phyllis Butters of Danvers MA. Terence is survived by his loving wife, Sharon of 36 years. They were married on August 9th, 1980.
Terence is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon of Warren, N.H.; sister, Patricia Carney and brother-in-law, Lloyd Carney of Danvers; sister, Nancy Butters of Danvers; daughter, Heather O’Neil and finance’ Jason Samson of Warren, N.H.; son, Terence O’Neil Jr., daughter-in-law Megan O’Neil and three grandchildren, Patrick, Addison and Emerson of Lebanon, N.H.
Terence was born in Salem MA in 1956. He graduated from Danvers High School in 1974 and was soon accepted into the GE Apprenticeship Machinist program. After completing the apprenticeship program he chose to join the Army where he proudly served his country for a short period of time before moving on to become a master machinist/tool maker which was his passion.
Terence enjoyed working on his trucks, watching drag racing, drag racing with his family and friends and being a machinist.
The calling hours will be held at Ricker Funeral Home, 56 School Street, Lebanon, N.H. from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday March 12th. Funeral services will be at Ricker Funeral Home on Monday March 13th at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon NH.
