Sidney M.'s Story
Peabody- Sidney M. Earley, age 75, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 peacefully at home. He was the husband of Ruth V. (Conrad) Earley.
He was born in Brownfield Texas to the late James M. and Elsie (Baker) Earley. He graduated from Long Beach State and Compton Junior College.
An honorable discharged veteran, he served his country in the United States Navy.
Sid worked in the fire protection industry for many years. He enjoyed golfing, clown collecting and traveling.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Sidney M. Earley and his wife, Traci of Simmonville, SC, Michael W. Earley and his wife, Chris of Elizabeth, Colo., Jeffrey S. Earley of Salisbury, N.C.; a daughter, Amy L. Earley of Plaistow, N.H.; a brother, James Earley of Concrete, Washington St; seven grandchildren, Chandler, Brandon, Garrett, Lauren, Caroline, Tucker, Natalia; his former wife, Rose Maffett of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Kara Lentz of N.C. He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Earley and two sisters, Yvonne Roy and Cendy Wysong.
His funeral service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Monday, October 2, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Contributions may be made in his name to DAV – Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
