Shirley M.'s Story
Shirley Mae (Trepanier) Shaw 79, beloved wife of the late William M. Shaw, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Beverly Hospital.
Born in Ipswich, she was the daughter of the late Albert H. and Sarah S. (Smith) Trepanier. She was raised in Hamilton and graduated from the Hamilton High School.
A lifelong resident of Hamilton, Mrs. Shaw enjoyed cooking, reading and arts and crafts projects at home.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving her are two sons: Kevin M. Shaw of North Andover and William M. Shaw of Hamilton; one daughter: Debora M. Finkst and her husband, Gary of Ipswich; six grandchildren: Ryan and Jason Finkst, Billy and Trevor Shaw, Benjamin and Matthew Shaw; two sisters: Margaret Frazier and her husband, Robert of North Reading and Dorothy Burrill and her husband, Perley of Lynnfield; two brothers: Clarence “Nepo” Trepanier and his wife, Helen of Hamilton and Robert Trepanier and his wife, Nancy of Beverly; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Albert Trepanier, Sarah "Liz" Walsh, Arthur “Dick” Trepanier and Pauline Semons.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery Beverly.
