Sharon L.'s Story
Sharon L. Warner, 70, of Gloucester, passed away surrounded by family at her home on June 30, 2017, after a strong battle with cancer.
Born in Beverly, Mass., on June 14, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Louise and Varnum Pedrick.
She is survived by her daughter, Kate Surprenant of Dartmouth, Mass.; her sister, Judy Watt of Gettysburg, Pa.; her brothers, Stacey Pedrick and Chris Pedrick of Ipswich; her beloved grandson, Joshua Surprenant; and many revered close relatives, friends, and co-workers.
She graduated Ipswich High School and cum laude from University of New Hampshire.
She was previously married to Ross Warner of Portsmouth, N.H., with whom she had their daughter, Kate.
She was an accomplished cook, and loved to garden, bird watch, travel, and spend time with her friends and family. She had worked as a medical technologist and more recently enjoyed working in real estate in the Concord, Mass. area and in Ipswich. After living in Boxford, and central Massachusetts, she returned to Gloucester to be near her hometown of Ipswich and where she found much happiness with Tim Anson, her partner of 18 years.
A private Celebration of Her Life will be held by her family at a future date.
