Shane F.'s Story
Shane Francis Duggan, 29, lost his battle with substance abuse on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 while waiting to be placed in a treatment facility.
Shane was born December 24, 1987, to Brian Duggan of Danvers and the late Susan (LeBrun) Duggan.
A Danvers resident for most of his life, he was a 2006 graduate of Danvers High School. He graduated from Salem State University with a degree in business and marketing, then received his law degree from the UMass School of Law in Dartmouth. Shane had recently passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam.
Shane was extremely intelligent, an avid boxer, and took great pride in his power moves.
In addition to his loving father, he is survived by his grandmother, Margaret Duggan, his siblings, Brandon Duggan, Maddie Duggan, who he adored and loved, and his youngest brothers, Nicholas and Sean Silva, who were his best video game buddies; his aunt, Elisabeth LeBrun, his cousin, Debra-Jean LeBrun, and two dogs, Micky and Oakley. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Francis Duggan and Paul and Madelynne LeBrun, and his aunt Karen LeBrun Namvar.

His Memorial Service will be Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10 a.m. in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
