Sean P.'s Story
Sean P. Armstrong, 45, went home unexpectedly to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. He was born in Salem, Mass., on July 6, 1971.
Sean graduated from Beverly High/Trade School in 1989. He served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years as a combat engineer and was honorably discharged as Sergeant in 2001. Sean worked at General Electric in Lynn, Mass., as a machinist for the past 15 years. He enjoyed a variety of outdoor sports and spending his casual time on his computer.
He is survived by his mother, Diane (Wojick) Marciano and step-dad, Eulipio (Rocky) of Beverly; his father, Robert Armstrong of Peabody; his sister, Sherry Adams of Chandler, Ariz.; step-sister, Tammy Marciano of Beverly; two nieces, Paige and Amber Adams of Chandler, Ariz.; his aunts, Kathryn (Kitty) Dawson and her husband, Bill of Fairfield, Maine, Isy Winslow and her husband, Edward of Beverly; his uncles, Frank Wojick and wife, Karen of Beverly, Fred Wojick and wife, Donna of Zephyrhills, Fla., Carmine Marciano and his wife, Helen of Beverly; and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Helen and Henry Wojick of Peabody; Dorothy and Henry Armstrong of Peabody; Rose Marciano of Beverly; and aunts and uncles, John Wojick of Beverly, Richard Wojick of New Hampshire, Janice Armstrong, John (Sonny) Armstrong, Beverly Penick, Dolly Taeger and Carol Avellino, all formerly of Peabody; and Terry Seger of Danvers.
Sean will be deeply missed by all who loved him. The world has lost a quiet, gentle soul and kind-hearted gentleman.
The family wants to extend their warmest thanks to the staff of the Veteran’s MHICM Programs and the Local 201 IUE-CWA AFL-CIO for their support and guidance.
A memorial service will be held later this summer at St. John's Catholic Church in Peabody, followed by a committal service at Annunciation Cemetery in Danvers.
