Scott C.'s Story
Scott C. Winslow, 60, of Hamilton, died peacefully in his sleep from congestive heart failure May 17.
Scott was a proud father of three grown children who were the greatest joy in his life, Alexandra, Samuel and Keelie. He was husband to Susan [Graham] Winslow for over 30 years. Scott and Sue shared a love of the outdoors and animals, taking in all varieties of animals in need on their farms in Maine and Massachusetts.
Scott was an alumnus of the University of New Hampshire and New England School of Law. He was a voracious reader with a deep curiosity about physics, psychology and health. He worked as a personal wealth manager for nearly 40 years at Key Trust, David L. Babson, The Boston Company and Brown Brothers Harriman. His other passions included sailing, cooking, writing, traveling and spending time with his family. Scott was a devoted Christian and active member of First Church Congregational in Boxford for over fifteen years.
Scott was predeceased by his beloved mother, Mary C. Winslow and brother, David Winslow. He is survived by his father, Christopher C. Winslow, of Hamilton, Alicia (Winslow) and Bill Cargill of Boxford, Sue (Perkins) and Jonathan Winslow, of Dover, N.H. and many beloved nieces and nephews, extended family members, in-laws and friends.
A memorial service will be held at First Church Congregational in Boxford on Saturday June 10 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's memory may be made to Windrush Farm Therapeutic Horseback Riding (www.windrushfarm.org) or Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (mrfrs.org).
