Philip Archille's Story
Mr. Philip Archille LeBel, age 76, died peacefully, Friday, March 24, 2017, at Beverly Hospital.
Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Rene and Elmira (Beaulieu) LeBel.
Philip worked for Osram Sylvania in Danvers, Mass., for many year before his retirement. He enjoyed playing softball, fishing, watching sports and singing and listening to music and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. A fun loving caring father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all.
Surviving him is a son, Philip J. LeBel of Salem, N.H.; two daughters, Lisa A. Blunt and her husband, Donald of Windham, N.H., Cheryl M. Bettencourt of Peabody; four grandchildren, Tyler, Ava, Anthony and Matthew; one sister, Joanne Francoeur and her companion, Ed Tonart of Beverly; two brothers, Robert LeBel and his wife, Virginia of Peabody, Richard LeBel and his wife, Nina of Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Roger R. LeBel and a sister, Doris A. Farney.
Funeral services will be held at Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Friday, March 30, 2017, at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
