Patricia Anne (Owens) (Coleman)'s Story
Mrs. Patricia Anne (Owens) (Coleman) Clements, 85, of Topsfield, beloved wife of the late George C. Clements and former wife of Robert F. Coleman, died Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Seaview Retreat in Rowley.
Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Eleanor A. (Moore) Owens. She was raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy in Somerville. She continued her education at Salem State College, earning her bachelor's degree in education.
Mrs. Clements had been employed as an educator with the Somerville School District. Following the birth of her children, family became her passion and focus. She taught at the Riverside School in Danvers and had been employed as a substitute teacher for many years.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Pat was a longtime resident of Beverly and Topsfield. She was a member of the P.T.A. in Beverly and was a longtime member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association. She had a deep passion for animals. In retirement, she enjoyed spending her time traveling the world and sailing with her beloved husband George. Family was paramount in her life and she was devoted to her children and grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Pamela Marie Hebert of South Hamilton and Laurie Lee Marshall and her husband, Robert of Topsfield; her son, Christopher Coleman of Beverly; her grandchildren, Catherine T. Coleman, Haley, Hannah, and Noah Hebert, and Emma and Joshua Marshall; and her former husband, Robert F. Coleman of Danvers.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Route 62) Danvers, Thursday, June 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial is private.
