Patricia Ann's Story

Text size

Patricia Ann (Morin) (Loyte) Marron, 78, of Peabody, loving wife of Russell Marron, with whom she shared nearly 50 years of marriage, died peacefully on May 3, 2017, at Beverly Hospital after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Alice (Jaworski) Morin of Salem, and the sister of the late Raymond Morin and Ronald Morin, also of Salem. She attended the Bowditch School, Salem High School, and St. James Church of Salem.
Patricia enjoyed teaching small children as a staff member of St. Stephen's Memorial Episcopal Church in Lynn until she devoted her Sunday mornings to preparing full-course, noontime Sunday dinners religiously every week, gathering all the family to enjoy the most delicious turkey, roast pork, or roast beef gravy they've ever had to date.
Pat was employed at the former CBS Hytron of Salem and Danvers and worked as a sales clerk for Daniel Low and Company of Salem, Almy's of Salem and Peabody, and Coon's Card Shop in Salem before her retirement.
As devoted as she was to the work she enjoyed so much, Patricia loved spending romantic weekends with her husband at the family cottage in northern Maine. An avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, she excitedly cheered for her home team during every game of the season from the comfort of the most beloeved of all places -- her home.
Patrcicia's deepest passion was to find, create and magnify beauty in, around, and for her her husband and five children, with a refined talent to constantly improve for her family more and more a structure of stability and dependability; a home of beauty and style; and a life of comfort and ease far greater than she had seen in her own youth.
In addition to her husband of nearly 50 years, she is survived by four sons and a daughter-in-law, Albert and Cindy Loyte, Michael Loyte, Mark Loyte and his fiance, Candi Woodbury, Jason Marron and his partner, Amy Fitzpatrick; a daugher and son-in-law, Cheryl and Thomas Marr Jr.; nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Ashley, Tyler, Thomas, Stephen, Matthew, Melinda, and Autumn; and three great-grandchildren, Landon, Paisley, and Jaxson; a brother, Richard Morin; three sisters, Maryann Poretta, Susan Coughlin, and Tina Morin; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Patricia's Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 14, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Salem Moose Family Center #2573, 50 Grove St., Salem, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
