Patricia A. (Dwyer)'s Story
Patricia (Dwyer) Comeau, 80, beloved wife of the late Edward F. “Ted” Comeau, passed away surrounded by her children at Sutton Hill Nursing Home on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (LeClair) Dwyer.
Patricia grew up in Beverly and was a graduate of St. Mary High School, Class of 1954.
She worked at the United Shoe, a medical office assistant, and for the city of Beverly High School guidance department.
She enjoyed baking, knitting, sewing, and home remodeling. She most enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Edward F. Comeau, Jr. and his wife, Debra of Beverly, Robert Comeau and his wife, Nancy of Beverly and Kevin Comeau and his wife, Deborah of Georgetown; two daughters, Deborah Duke and her husband, William of Leominster and Carol Raymond and her husband, John “Bill” of Beverly; a brother, William Dwyer Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Queeche, Vt.; a brother-in-law, Charles Comeau of Danvers; two sisters-in-law, Alice Hayes of Danvers and Marilyn Comeau of Peabody; 13 grandchildren, Billy and his wife, Jaci, Meghan and fiancé, Andrew, Jason and his wife, Alana, Ryan, Jenn, Ben, Kristen, Eric, Chad and Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Jack; along with many nieces and nephews. Her brothers-in-law, Paul Comeau and Frank Comeau; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Priscilla Comeau, predeceased her.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly on Friday at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service from 12 to 1 p.m. Burial will be held in North Beverly Cemetery.
