Olive was born in Rumford, England and came to America at the early age of 16. She went onto marry and had three children. She was director of the Heritage Training Center in Salem, N.H. for many years, working with low level retardees. She started "spend a Day" in Salem, N.H. for seniors.
Olive had many friends who loved to listen to her stories of England during WW II and her life experiences.
Family members include daughter-in-law, Joanne Deschene-Antos of Pembroke, N.H.; grandchildren, Robin, Peter, Aubrey and Chase Deschene and friend, Carol Valcourt, numerous extended family and friends in England and Australia.
She was predeceased by two husbands, Al Deschene and Philip Boyd; two sons, Al and David and daughter, April LaBlank.
