Ms. Maryann Gallo, 59, of Salem, died Monday, February 20, 2017 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Born in Salem she was the daughter of Charlotte (Splaine) Gallo and the late James Gallo. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1975.
A loving and dedicated mother, daughter sister and aunt, Maryann devoted her life to her family. She was always willing to help her loved ones in their time of need. She had a deep passion for music and enjoyed spending her time at music festivals and loved to share her passion for music with others. She will be deeply missed.
Maryann volunteered with Wreaths Across America and found great integrity in being able to honor American Veterans.
Maryann is survived by her son, Alex Robert Lockard of Salem; her mother, Charlotte Gallo of Salem; her sister, Nancy Gallo of Salem, her brother, Richard Vincent Gallo of Philadelphia; her nephew, Adam Albanese of Salem, her mother and father-in-law, Gene and Jerry Lockard of Salem. She was predeceased by the love of her life and father of her son, Robert Lockard.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in The O’Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) Salem, Thursday, February 23rd from 5 to 8 p.m. All other services are private.
