Mark J.'s Story
Mark J. Lewis, Jr., 36, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the Lynn Memorial Hospital.
Born and raised in Beverly, he received his education in the Beverly school system and graduated from the North Shore Technical High School, Class of 1997.
Mark was employed for many years as an electromechanical technician for Hydrocision in North Billerica.
An avid basketball player and devoted fan, he was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Christine Whitmarsh and her husband, Christopher of Rowley and Mark J. Lewis, Sr. and his wife, Ruby of Haverhill; his longtime girlfriend, Jessica Bryan of Peabody; his maternal grandmother, Eleanor E. Marshall of Danvers and the late Thomas Marshall; his paternal grandparents, James Lewis and his wife, Ethel of Beverly; aunts and uncles, Wendy Smith and her husband, Gene of Stratham, N.H., Thomas Marshall and his wife, Juliette of Peabody, Joseph Marshall and his wife, Susan of Beverly, Barry Lewis and his wife, Maura of Beverly and Scott Lewis and his wife, Annmarie of Bridgewater; the entire Whitmarsh family and many cousins.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch Street, Beverly, Friday, February 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
