Marjorie R. (Linehan)'s Story
Marjorie R. (Linehan) Griffin, age 95 years, of Beverly, wife of the late Leo Griffin, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Swampscott, dear daughter of the late John and Eva (Vallincour) Linehan, she was a graduate of Lynn English High School.
A resident of Beverly since 1985, she enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family.
Surviving her is five sons, Stephen Griffin and his wife, Esther of Beverly, Gary Griffin and his wife, Nancy of Essex, Terrence Griffin of Beverly, Dale Griffin and his wife, Susan of New Hartford, N.Y., and Patrick Griffin of Severn, Md.; six grandchildren, Jerren, Jennifer, Brian, Meghan, Adam and Kristen; five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Ellovey, Kayla and Aine; one sister, Rita Griffin of Peabody; and a nephew, Robert Griffin of Salem. She was also the mother of the late Michael Griffin.
Marjorie’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch Street, Beverly on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.
