Louise A. (Pizzo)'s Story
Louise Asunda (Pizzo) Keenan passed away on January 17, 2017 following a long courageous battle with cancer. Louise and her loving husband Edward “Ed” Keenan were married for 62 years. They were lifetime worshippers at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church in Beverly.
She leaves four children, Terrie Keenan and her son, Albert Coles of Mill Valley, Calif., Karen Keenan Takis and her husband Anthony Takis and their children, Matthew and Rachael Takis of Ipswich, Edward Keenan and his fiancé, Susan Navarro and their children, Amanda and John of Beverly, David Keenan and his wife, Lisa and their children, Calvin Martel, Carly and Dawson Keenan of Beverly. She also leaves her sister, Shirley and Jim Brown of Sarasota, Fla. and Linda Kleimola of Groveland along with many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Anthony Pizzo,
Louise was a creative, kind and loving soul. Always putting her family first, she was a fabulous cook and cake decorator, a talented seamstress, sewing clothes for her children. She also worked at the United Shoe and the billing office at Beverly Hospital for 15 years. Louise enjoyed time with her devoted husband “Ed”, she enjoyed watching sports, travelling to Italy and Foxwood Casino and wintering in Florida with her sister, Shirley.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly.
