Louis F.'s Story
Louis F. Picariello, 92, of Beverly, beloved husband of the late Irene (Silva) Picariello, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, August 22, 2017 at Care One at Essex Park in Beverly.
Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Francis and Santa (Taglieri) Picariello.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Army.
Louis enjoyed working around his yard, especially planting and caring for his tomato plants. He loved spending time with his family and took pride in caring for his home.
He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Giering-Hayes of Beverly, Deborah Ryan of Lynn and Cynthia Arabian of Gloucester; one son, David Souza and his wife, Andrea of Gloucester; one sister, Margaret Conley of Peabody; ten grandchildren, Shannon Marcantonio, Shelle Souza, David Souza Jr., Justin Souza, Brooke Nadea and her husband Donald, Breeann White, Deena Johnson and her husband Jay, Daniel Giering and his wife Susie, Angela Giering and Geena Ryan and 14 great-grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Rene Slingsby, brother of the late Frank Picariello, Sabato Picariello, Amelia Archer and Mary Pietrini and grandfather of the late John Arabian.
