Leo Franklin's Story
Leo Franklin Anderson, age 69, died Monday, September 18, 2017 at Exeter Hospital, Exeter, N.H.
He was born in Beverly, the son of the late Franklin and Elizabeth (McGloin) Anderson. He was a 1966 graduate of Beverly High School.
An honorably discharged veteran having served as an MP officer in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Leo retired from the United States Government as a Law Enforcement Officer and Inspector.
One of his most precious gifts was his sense of humor lifting the spirits of all that knew him. Lee’s art of cooking for family and friends each weekend was also an extension of his enduring spirit and giving nature.
Surviving him are three daughters, Kristin Anderson and her fiance, Gary Morris of Danvers, Stacie Anderson of Danvers and Nicole Mitchell of Newmarket, N.H.; two sisters, Patricia Brown of Seabrook, N.H., Pamela Walsh and her husband David of Gloucester; a grandson, Braydon; a companion, Diane Pinager and her children; a niece and two nephews; a former wife, Valerie (L’Abbe) Anderson.
Leo’s Funeral Service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Monday, September 25, 2017 at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers.
