Kyle Andrew O’Grady, Superhero, died at age 15 on Saturday evening, June 17, 2017, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Salem on December 11, 2001, Kyle was the cherished son of Abbie O’Grady and Brett Desrosier.
He was raised in Danvers where he attended Smith School, Holten Richmond Middle School, and was a member of the freshman class of 2020 at Danvers High School.
Kyle loved so many things, Marvel superheroes, movies, legos, The Big Bang Theory, trips to Red Sox spring training, Zeb’s country store, the color purple, and the devoted members of Team Kyle. He loved board games, and with support from Hasbro, recently created his own version of Monopoly, called Kylopoly, a legacy gift for his family and friends. He also enjoyed performing and loved his role in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in middle school.
Kyle was a proud member of the Camp Lawrence family, a summer camp on Bear Island, N.H., where he was a camper for many years…a place he cherished and loved like no other.
More than anything, Kyle adored his family.
In addition to his parents, Kyle is survived by his sister, Morgan O’Grady; his brothers, Brady and Connor Desrosier; his grandparents, Eileen and Angelo George of Danvers, and Paul and Sandy Desrosier of Lynn; his aunts and uncles, Amy and Peter Maurer, David and Gina Desrosier, and Paul Desrosier; and his cousins.
