Judith A.'s Story
Peabody-Judith Ann Kimball, age 70, died unexpectedly at her home in Peabody on June 1st.
“Judy” to friends and family alike, grew up in Saugus, and was the daughter of the late Herbert Lord and Patricia (Mack) Kimball.
Later in her life, Ms. Kimball was a resident of Peabody, where she raised her family and lived an incredibly full life. Judy built a successful career in banking, rising from a teller trainee to vice president of Boston Federal Savings Bank, from which she retired as a valued and admired colleague. Judy was an avid baker, chef and enjoyed gardening and crafts of all types. She was a Girl Scout to the end, and regularly met with her former troop-mates. She was a valued friend and neighbor, and touched many lives with her kindness, intelligence and beautiful smile.
Above all else, Judy was a devoted and selfless mother and grandmother. She instilled in her children and grandchildren the concepts of fairness, compassion, hard work and many other valuable attributes. She was a fixture at her grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities. Ms. Kimball is survived by her sons, Jeremy Coffey and his wife Dina of Wenham, Christian Morse of Danvers, cherished grandchildren, Ian, Carter, Christa and Leah of Wenham; and her beloved brother, Michael Kimball and his wife, Abby of Silverthorne, Colorado. She is also survived by cousins in Wisconsin, New York and Maine. Her favorite place on Earth was Wilson Lake, in Acton, Maine, which she visited frequently with family and friends.

A visitation will be held in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, on Tuesday, June 13, 10:30 to noon. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at noon.
