Joyce E. (Therault)'s Story
Mr. Joyce E. (Therault) Nelson, 82, of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Robert Nelson, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her home.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Epiphany and Annette (Loranger) Therault. She was raised and educated in Salem.
Mrs. Nelson had been employed with G.T.E. Sylvania at the Boston Street Plant for many years until the time of her retirement. Following retirement she went back to school and earned her degree as a Licensed Electrologist and worked professionally for 15 years.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Joyce loved to travel with her husband all around the United States. She was devoted to her family and found great pleasure supporting her grandchildren in all of their accomplishments. If one of her grandchildren was competing in a sporting event, Joyce was there cheering them on. She loved her family deeply and will be missed.
Joyce is survived by her loving son, Michael Correale and his wife, Patricia of Peabody, her grandchildren, Mandy Maryanski and her husband, John, Michael Correale and Matthew Correale, all of Peabody and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services are private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62), Danvers.
