Joan L. (Couillard)'s Story
Mrs. Joan L. (Couillard) Caldwell, 88, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Wallace L. Caldwell, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Putnam Farm Assisted Living, Danvers.
Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Alvah and Millicent (Upton) Couillard and was raised and educated in Newbury.
Joan was a devoted wife and loving mother, who was always there for her family. After her children were grown, she returned to school and graduated from Salem State College.
Professionally she had been employed as an Executive Secretary for Accelerated Systems of Beverly were she endeared herself to her co-workers and was known for her superior work.
She was a member of Maple Street Congregational Church of Danvers and was active in the Girl Scout Program. Joan and her husband enjoyed dancing, especially square dancing where once again she made many friends.
Joan is survived by her son, Dana Caldwell and his wife Pauline, three grandchildren, Heather Evans and her husband David, Katie Caldwell and Dana Caldwell and her five great-grandchildren, David Evans, Tyler Evans, Dylan Evans, Ryan Heroux and Lana Heroux all of Derry New Hampshire. She was also the mother of the late Donna Caldwell.
Her Funeral Service will be held in the Peterson O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte 62) Danvers, Tuesday, February 14th at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Joan’s memory to the Donna L.
