Helen N. Conrad passed away peacefully at home in Salem surrounded by her family on Monday, May 1, 2017. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Margaret “Peggy” (Conrad) Saucedo. She was a student of the Salem school system and retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts after many years of service. Helen was preceded in death by her wife, Michelle Carrignan, and is survived by her step-son, Roberto Rivera and his fiancé, Jacklyn Tuy and her daughter, Alanna. Helen was a loving sister to Mary and Philip Tinkham, Sr. of Salem, Laurie and John Mendonca of Salem, Tess and Guy Babineau of Salem, Angel and Dave Despres, Sr. of Lynn, John and Sheila Saucedo of Montana. She is also survived by her treasured aunt, Laura Krenzel of Beverly; her in-laws, Diane and Henry Perrin of Lowell, Ronnie Sr. and Jolene Carignan of New Hampshire, and the late Robert Carignan, Sr. Helen was the beloved aunt of Philip Tinkham, Jr. and his wife, Alyson, Jennifer and Christopher Tinkham; Shanalyn, Jessica, Janine, Cassandra and Timothy Mendonca; Teisha, Michelle, and Rachael Babineau; David Jr., and Aleasha Despres; Ronnie Jr., Zachary, Timothy, Georgia, Bobby, and Brandon Carignan. Helen was the proud great-aunt of Evan, Jayden, Landon, Matteo, Jayson, Benny, Peyton-Taylor, Suzahna, Taylen, Salvatore, Alex, and Angelo.
