Francois "Frank" Paul's Story
We mourn the passing of Francois "Frank" Paul Gasser, Jr., 79 on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in Grapevine, Texas.
Frank was born March 5, 1938, in Newark, N.J., and grew up in Beverly, Mass., where he attended Beverly High School. He studied engineering at Hartford State Technical College in Connecticut. Frank worked as a flight instrumentation instructor for Sikorsky helicopter; a biomedical equipment field service engineer for various companies; and later, as a self-employed businessman and realtor. He was a 19-year resident of Keller. Frank was a lifelong lover of baseball, and a fan of the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed gardening, playing Scrabble, and building things with his hands. Most of all, he loved to learn. He was a dedicated and devoted father and husband. He will be missed.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Francois Sr.; his mother, Josephine (Marcellino); and his sister, Yves Fava.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Katherine; his sister, Claudette Bennett; his daughter, Jennifer Hull and her husband, Eddie; his son, Paul, and his wife, Kristin; his son, Charles, and his wife, Kristen; as well as six grandchildren, Victoria, Alessandra and Maia Hull, Grace and Josephine Gasser, and Amanda Gasser; and a large extended family. He will also be missed by his dog, Sparky.
