Elizabeth L. (Harrington)'s Story
Elizabeth L. (Harrington) Barry, 88, of Turtle Creek, formerly of Hamilton, died Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas M. Barry, who died in 2006. Born in Beverly on November 14, 1928, she was the daughter of the late David T. and Annie F. (Hurley) Harrington.
Elizabeth was devoted to her family and cherished all the special times she spent with them. She loved playing cards and bingo. She especially enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and camping.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Pelletier of Foxboro; two sons, Timothy Barry and his wife, Dale of Wenham and Thomas Barry of Hudson; six grandchildren, Jennifer Varum and her husband, Carlos, Marcy Rossi and her husband, Stephen, Kelly Wolfe and her husband, James and Meghan, Patrick and Tommy Barry; and three great-grandchildren, Mia and Tatum Rossi and Crosby Wolfe.
Elizabeth’s visiting hours will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friend are invited to attend.
