Elizabeth “Betty” L.'s Story
Elizabeth “Betty” L. (Roy) Michaud of Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of Salem, Mass., passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017, at the age of 78.
Betty is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 57 years, Kenneth Michaud, Sr. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Kenneth “Tom” Michaud, Jr. and his wife, Anne; Keith Michaud and his wife, Tracey; and daughter, Karen (Michaud) Gallahue and her husband, Robert. She was the cherished grandmother of Bobby, Sean, Andrew and Benjamin Gallahue; Gabrielle and Garrett Michaud; and Kenneth “Kenney” Michaud, III; sister of Robert Roy and his wife, Carole; and Anne Marie (Roy) Barthelemy and husband, Ray; and sister-in-law of William and Virginia Michaud; loving daughter of the late Richard and Louise (LaPointe) Roy; step-daughter of the late Rita (Caron) Roy; and sister of the late Constance (Roy) St. Pierre. Betty is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Betty derived enjoyment from her grandchildren, playing card games and Mah Jongg, theatre shows and traveling on cruises.
A Memorial Mass will be held at the Saint Lucie Catholic Church, 280 SW Prima Vista, Port St. Lucie, FL on Tuesday, January 24, at 9:30 a.m. Also, a memorial service will be held in Salem in the spring.
