Eleanor A.'s Story
Eleanor A. (Yuhas) Moore, 89, formerly of Fords, N.J., wife of the late Charles Moore, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Blueberry Hill Nursing Home in Beverly.
Born and raised in Perth Amboy, N.J., she was the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Gyokeri) Yuhas. She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School in Perth Amboy, N.J..
Mrs. Moore had been employed as a sales clerk for twenty five years at Walgreens in Hopelawn, N.J. until the time of her retirement. Prior to that she had worked at Katz Drug Store in Fords, N.J. and at 2 Guys in Hopelawn, N.J. She had also volunteered and was a life member and EMT with St. John’s First Aide Squad in Fords, N.J. for 25 years.
A lifelong resident of New Jersey before moving to Danvers in 2015, she was a member of the Our Lady of Peace Church in Ford, NJ as well as their Holy Rosary Society and was a member of the Ford Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Price and her companion, Marc Bouchard of Salem, four grandchildren, Robert Moore, Rebecca Ace, Kenneth Englert and William Price, many step grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, Victoria McKechen, Daniel, Samuel and David Ace, Kian Price and Cody and Madison Englert. She was also the mother of the late Robert C. Moore Sr. of Glenoma, Washington.
Her funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly.
