Edward J. (Jack)'s Story
Edward J. (Jack) Driscoll III of Glen N.H., formerly of Marblehead and Peabody, Mass., passed away on May 20, 2017, from complications of kidney cancer. He was the son of the late Edward J. Jr. and Ethel (Hagen) Driscoll.
Jack attended Malden, Mass., schools and graduated from Everett Vocational High School. He entered the US Navy upon graduation and served his country for four years. He was an engineering technician in the robotics field.
Jack was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Sandra Gadsby; and his brother, Robert Driscoll. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Sheahan Driscoll; his sons, David (Linda) Driscoll and Scott (Mei) Driscoll; and three grandchildren, Shannon, AJ, and Keara. He is also survived by a sister, Patricia Ward, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be sadly missed by all.
At his request there will be no funeral. There will be a celebration of his life on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at the West Side Social Club, 4 Harrington Court, Wakefield, MA, from 1 to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in his name to Dana Farber Cancer Center, Lank Center for GU Oncology, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02115, or to Jen's Friends Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1842, North Conway, NH 03860, would be appreciated by his family.
