Daniel P.'s Story
Daniel P. Servizio 44, of Salem, formerly of Beverly, died Friday, March 17, 2017 after a lengthy stay at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington.
Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of Bruno and Grace (Paglia) Servizio of Beverly. He received his education in the Beverly school system and graduated from ATS with a hydraulics license.
Dan had been employed for twenty years by the May Institute as a health care provider. He also worked as a carpenter, painter and heavy equipment operator.
A longtime resident of Beverly before moving to Salem, Dan was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, working out, cooking and spending time with family, friends and his dog, Max.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé and soulmate, Carolyn N. Ely of Salem, a sister, Natalie Servizio of Beverly, two brothers, David Servizio and his wife, Cynthia of Wilmington and Joseph Servizio of Beverly, his Godmother, Carmelina Procaccini of Danvers and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral service will be held in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
