Daniel J.'s Story
Daniel J. Regan, Jr. passed away peacefully in Mesa, Ariz., on April 21, 2017, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Beverly on March 21, 1946, to Daniel Regan Sr. and Etna (Nicol) Regan. He attended schools in Beverly, Salem, and Manchester, Mass.
Dan served two tours in Vietnam with the United States Army. He served his country with duty and honor and returned to civilian life to resume his love of riding motorcycles and enjoying the coastlines of New England, especially all the views from the North Shore of Massachusetts. His keen sense of humor, quick wit, and love of life was shared with family and friends.
He is survived by wife, Judy; daughter, Jessica; son and best friend, Daniel, all of Mesa, Ariz.; four stepchildren, Kelley, Dawn, Amanda and Jason; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition, he is survived by sisters, Etna Tauscher of Florida, Lois Steele of Maine, Wilma Lloyd of Maine, and Raeann Downey of Massachusetts. He is also survived by five nephews, Roger LaRochelle and Michael LaRochelle of Massachusetts, and Nicholas, Jason and Trevor Lloyd of Maine.
Dan will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his broad smile, generosity of spirit, determination, strength and love of family. Most of all, he will be missed for his quick wit and humor.
