Catherine Lee's Story
Catherine Lee (Fox) Cadogan, 69, longtime Ipswich resident and the loving wife of Ted Cadogan, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday morning.
Born in Glendive, Mont., she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Hanson) Fox of Bismarck, N.D. Catherine was a graduate of St. Mary's High School where she was a cheerleader and Bismarck Jr. College. She was an avid gymnast and accomplished ballet dancer. Catherine was an adored teacher for many years at Briscoe Middle School in Beverly. She was also a huge fan of the New England Patriots and participated in the Ipswich Booster Club for local sports teams. She loved her family very much and the many friends in her community. She will be missed by all that knew her.
In addition to her husband, Ted, she is survived by a son, James Cadogan of Somerville; daughter, Ashley Player and her husband, Themis Sotiropoulos of Ipswich; three grandchildren, Jack, Nick, and Ava Sotiropoulos, all of Ipswich; two brothers, John Fox of Bismarck, N.D. and James Fox of Wing, N.D. She was the sister of the late Paul Fox, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
A service celebrating Catherine's life will be held Saturday, September 9, at 10:30 a.m. in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St., Ipswich followed by interment in the New Highland Cemetery, Ipswich.
