Catherine "Cathy"'s Story
Catherine Madeline Mullenix “Cathy”, 63, died May 30, 2017 at the Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Beverly.
She was born September 11, 1953 in Lynn, MA, daughter of the late Charles Gayron and Alma M. “Madeline” (LeBrun) Gayron. Cathy grew up in Danvers. She had resided in Epping, N.H. for many years with her husband, Timothy W. Mullenix. Cathy was a devoted employee and homemaker. She worked as an executive secretary at General Electric for many years before choosing to stay home to raise her children. Cathy made it an absolute priority to make all of her daughter’s activities and ran the Epping Youth Athletic Association concession stand at Mary Blair Park for 8 years, which she loved doing. Once her children were older, Cathy returned to work and was employed as a cashier for Cumberland Farms for over 10 years.
Cathy greatly enjoyed making country style crafts with only real or dried flowers. She also liked camping and kayaking. The family fondly recalled Cathy as a scrabble expert who spent countless hours playing online scrabble.
She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy W. Mullenix, daughter and son-in-law, Shauna and Shaine Hersey, daughter, Erin Mullenix, brother, Michael Gayron, brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Nancy Gayron, and several nieces and nephews.
