Carol J. (Noyes)'s Story
Carol J. (Noyes) Walsh passed away on January 27, after a long period of failing health. Carol was born August 15, 1941, and was the ninth of 10 children of the late Clifford and Helen Noyes. The Noyes family lived on Water Street in Danvers, Mass., and Carol attended Danvers schools. In 1960, Carol married Ernest (Bud) Walsh and they shared 46 years of marriage, until his death in 2006. Carol and Bud raised their family of five children in Beverly, Mass., and together watched their family grow as they welcomed 12 grandchildren. The home of Carol and Bud was often the focal point of family celebrations and holidays. Carol greatly missed her husband since his passing, and her family finds solace in the knowledge that they are together again.
Carol is survived by her children, Pamela Richardson and her husband, Dennis of Lynn, Mass.; Ernest (Buddy) Walsh of Gloucester, Mass.; Michelle Burby of Beverly; Carol Pages and her husband, Marc of Danvers; and Penny LaSelva and her husband, Martin of South Berwick, Maine. She is survived by her grandchildren, Cassie, Jodi and Marc Pages, Dennis, Jenna and James Burby, Michael and Peter Richardson, and Deirdre, Conor, Bridget and Michael LaSelva; and 12 great-grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her brother, Don Noyes of Danvers; as well as her three sisters, Betty Skoniecki of Beverly, Marge Falkowski of Peabody and Sandra Riley of Lynn; and many nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her brothers, Clifford, Charlie, Richard, Harry, and Robert Noyes.
