Blanche D.'s Story
Blanche D. (Gauthier) Trudeau, 77, of Beverly, died peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading, surrounded by loved ones after a long illness.
She was born on Feb 15, 1940 in Salem, daughter of the late Annette and Antonio Gauthier.
She married Donald J. Trudeau on May 28, 1970 and they had two children, Tammy J Leclerc and Nicole M Smith.
She spent most of her time as a homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Her love of dancing is how she met her beloved husband, she was an avid lover of Country-Western music, cards, bingo and spending time with her dogs over the years.
Blanche is survived by her loving husband of 46+ years, Donald J Trudeau, daughters and spouses, Tammy and John Leclerc of Northborough, Nicole and Shawn Smith of Beverly, her four grandchildren, Kayla Rivers and Amanda Smith of Beverly, Olivia Leclerc and Jared Leclerc of Northborough. She is also survived by her brother, Norman J. Gauthier of Salem, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Gauthier all of Salem.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
