Beth A.'s Story
Beth Ann (Robinson) Demski, a longtime resident of Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 12, 2017, in the Salem Hospital at the age of 53. Born in Newburyport on October 2, 1963, she is the daughter of Ronald Robinson and Janice (Migneault) Tarr. Beth was raised and educated in Ipswich. After high school, Beth attended North Shore Community College where she attained an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Beth worked for over 20 years in the Lafayette Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Marblehead as a physical therapy assistant. She married the love of her life, Edward F. Demski, Jr., in Danvers on November 5, 1995. The couple spent over 21 years in marriage and love together. Beth and Ed were inseparable and spent all their time together. They were both avid boaters and spent countless hours boating off their favorites spots of Misery Island and Pickering Wharf. In addition to her husband, Beth leaves her parents, Ronald Robinson and his wife, Maude of Ipswich and Janice Tarr of Ipswich; her siblings, Gail Yazbek of Peabody, Carolyn Darisse and her husband, Michael, Mathew Jodoin, and Amber Smith, all of Ipswich; her niece, Bridget Njuguna and her husband, John of Byfield; her grand-niece, Emma Njuguna of Byfield; her sister-in-laws, Marianne Baker of Marblehead and Donna Holaday and her husband, Joseph of Newburyport; her father-in-law, Edward F. Demski, Sr. of Marblehead; and her nephews, Jimmy Baker of Boston, Jared Holaday of Lowell, and P.J. Holaday of Newburyport. Beth was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Helene Demski.
A memorial service will be held in Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm St., Marblehead, MA 01945 on Saturday February 18, 2017, at 12 p.m. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Beth’s memory may be made to The Lafayette Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Attn: Activities Program, 25 Lafayette St., Marblehead, MA 01945.
