Barbara A. (McDonald)'s Story

Mrs. Barbara Agnes (McDonald) Ingraham 87, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Frederick W. Ingraham, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Brentwood Nursing Home in Danvers.
Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late David and Jessie (Marshall) McDonald. She was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School.
Mrs. Ingraham was devoted to her family in all capacities. She was the book keeper for her husband’s company, F.W. Ingraham Plumbing of Danvers for many years. A dedicated mother, she took great pride in being able to provide a warm and loving home to her husband and children.
A longtime resident of the Town of Danvers, Barbara was a member of the Danvers Couples Club and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed spending her time at the beach and skiing. For many years, she summered in York beach, Maine and later in life moved there year-round. Yet above all else family always came first. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed.
Barbara is survived by her children, Frederick G. Ingraham and his wife, Yvette of Seabrook, N.H, Sharon A. Keefe and her husband Thomas of Conway, N.H., Thomas P. Ingraham and his wife, Margaret of Danvers, Timothy H. Ingraham and his wife, Janet of Danvers and Dennis M. Ingraham and his companion, Michael Bishop of Derry, N.H.; her son-in-law, Barry Haley of Middleton, her 13 grandchildren, her three great grandchildren and several niece and nephews. She was the mother of the late Gayle Haley, retired Detective Sargent of the Middleton Police Department who passed away March 4th, 2017 and sister of the late Hal Wallace, Norma Hansen and Thomas McDonald.
Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte 62), Danvers, Saturday, March 25th at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
