Annette R.'s Story

Annette R. (Chalifour) Weldon, wife of the late James A. Weldon, died Monday at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Regina (Charest) Chalifour. She was raised in Danvers and lived in Beverly since 1963. Annette was formerly employed at Sylvania in Salem for several years. She was most known for being a dedicated homemaker and loving mother to her children. Annette was most happy when being amongst her family. She loved to dine out and many times this would consist of large gatherings of family and friends. Annette also enjoyed playing card games and occasional trips to the casino.

Surviving her is one son, Ronald J. Weldon of Salem; three daughters, Janet M. Scialdone of Beverly and her companion, Dennis L. Angelone of Danvers; Nancy A. Zwicker and her husband, David of Danvers; and Cynthia J. Mscisz and her husband, Stanley of Beverly; two brothers, Leon Chalifour of Wilmington; and George Chalifour of New Hampshire; two sisters, Fern Collins of Danvers; and Marcelle Crunkleton of California; seven grandchildren, Kristel, Katelyn, Brett, James, Sara, Tayla, and Jennifer; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Lyla, Nailah, and Ariana; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Brandon Mscisz; sister of the late Paul L. Chalifour; mother-in-law of the late Michael Scialdone; and sister-in-law of the late Marilyn Chalifour.
A funeral Mass will celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, North Beverly, on Friday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery in Danvers. lnformation, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
