Alice V.'s Story
Alice V. (Johansen) Morisi, 90, of Peabody, died Wednesday in a local nursing home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Francis A. Morisi.
Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Herman F.W. and Katherine P. (Higgins) Johansen. She was a graduate of Everett High School. Alice had resided in Peabody since 1960.
Alice worked for Sears Roebuck & Co. in Saugus and Danvers. She was a member of West Congregational Church in Peabody. She was also a member and Past Matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Victory Chapter 157 in Marblehead, and a member of the Ione Rebekah Lodge 129 in Everett. Alice was also an active member and volunteer of the Peabody Senior Center.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda K. and Tony Belmonte of Middleton; her grandson, Dana Belmonte of Middleton. She was the sister of the late Ruth V. Lagoria and Frederick and Herman Johansen.
