Alexis I.'s Story
Alexis Irene Zimmermann, 21, lost her battle with substance abuse on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was the loving daughter of Keith and Michelle (Bernard) Zimmermann.
Alexis was born in Beverly Hospital on January 23, 1996. Lexi was raised and educated in Danvers. She earned her Black Belt in Karate and was an incredible artist. Lexi enjoyed working with her father and also spending time at car shows.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Paula Bernard and Ted Johnson of Hamilton; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her two dogs, Bentley and Chevy. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, John and Elaine (Homan) Zimmermann; her maternal grandfather, Richard Bernard; and her sister, Danielle Geras.
Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. www.LyonsFuneral.com.
