BEVERLY - Wayne S. Thomas, 57, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 8, 2018.
Born in Danvers on June 20, 1960, he was the son of the late Bertram W. and Dorothy Q. (Whitaker) Thomas. He was a graduate of the Claude H. Patton Vocational High School, class of 1978, and a lifelong resident of Beverly.
Wayne was employed as a mold maker for the Vicor Corporation in Andover. He worked for Santin Engineering for many years. He was also a skilled woodworker and cabinet maker, and a member of the Vittori-Rocci Post in Beverly.
He is survived by his daughter, Tanya S. Thomas; two sons, Alex G. and Steven G. Thomas; two grandchildren, Anthony and Christa Thomas; two sisters, Wendy Thomas and her husband, Jack Harrington and Tina Young; three brothers, Mark Thomas, Gary Thomas and his wife, Mary and Brian Thomas and his companion, Ginny Ouellette; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear friends and neighbors. He was also predeceased by his brother, Eric Thomas.
ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 17, in the Church in the Cove, 167 Hale Street, Beverly, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street., Beverly, from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
