Vada J.'s Story

Vada J. (Williams) Henrichon, 67, beloved wife of Gary L. Henrichon, died Monday, June 19, 2017, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her family.
Born in Fleming, Ky., Vada was the daughter of the late Willie and Opal (Reed) Williams.
She was raised and received her education in Ludlow, Mass.
She had been employed for many years as a para-professional at the Abraham Edwards Elementary School in Beverly until the time of her retirement.
Vada was a loving wife, mother, and grandma who showered her family and friends with hugs, love, and humor. She was a caring, kind, and generous person who loved being with family and friends, reading, movies, and puzzles. Known for her famous chocolate chip cookies and her love of baking, quilting and crafts, she also enjoyed traveling and hiking with her husband.
In addition to her husband, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage, she is survived by a son, Jeremy Henrichon of Beverly and his partner, Kerry Toler; a daughter, Jessica Conlon and her husband, Ryan of Ipswich; five grandchildren, William Henrichon, Ethan Hanson, Ella Henrichon, Liam Conlon and Daniel Conlon; a sister, Charlene Dobiecki and her husband, Jim of Ludlow; a brother, Will Williams of Londonderry, Vt.; two sisters-in-law, Judith Rycenga and Kathleen Newman, both of Ludlow; a brother-in-law, Richard Henrichon of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, Sunday, June 25, 2017, at 3 p.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
