Thelma Brown Beverly, MA - Thelma Brown died peacefully in her home on March 10,2019. She was 88. Mrs Brown was born on December 7, 1930 and lived most of her life in Beverly.
She worked for many years as a waitress and looked forward to serving her customers at both Howard Johnson's and Brighams. After the death of her husband Donald in 2002, she moved to Turtle Woods where she made many friends and truly enjoyed her time there as part of the community. She was also an active member of the Church in the Cove.
She is survived by her son, Steven Brown and his wife, Carol, her sister Roxanne Campbell and her husband Robert. She also had seven grandchildren, Allison MacCarthy, Tom Brown, Jason Silva, Brian Silva, Matthew Silva, Kaylie McClung and Jessica McClung, and five great-grandchildren, Harry, Charlie and Archie Silva and Nicolas and Meya Silva. She was predeceased by her husband Donald, who she shared 50 years of marriage with, and her daughter Sandra McClung.
Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Sunday, March 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements are by the Campbell Funeral Home. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.

Thelma was a special lady. She used to send me funny cards with jokes in them and they made me laugh during a difficult time
